Tapered roller bearings are generally used to support combined load mainly consisting of radial load.
Their cups are separable for easy assembling. During mounting and using, radial clearance and axial clearance can be adjusted and preload mounting can be made.
These bearings are not self supporting and are normally axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image arrangement. Bearings manufactured from special material can be offered for use under extreme conditions.

Description:
The UCP series pillow block mounted bearing is designed for mounting onto bearing surfaces parallel to the shaft axis, such as conveyor belts.
This ready-to-mount unit has a cast iron housing, chrome steel bearings, and is designed for efficient operation at a wide range of speeds. The one-piece pillow block housing allows for a stationary outer ring and rotating inner ring.
The bearing is secured to the shaft with set screws to prevent slippage and the housing. This mounted bearing is used in industrial manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, and in the textile industry.
